1998

That’s why I like Indonesia: Travelled to the Mentawai Islands in Sumatra, Indonesia and made a surfing movie.

 

1997

Walking the Street: Exhibit oil paintings as part of the Festival of Newtown;  annually showcases work by local artists in retail shop windows along King Street.

 

1994

Bristow Films established to make films and contract financial services to the media, film and television industry. Produced video clip for Sony Music. Artist: Vince Stone

 

1993  

Artists United: Exhibited with various artists at cafes and nightclubs in Sydney throughout 1993 and 1994.

 

1992

Artists Unknown: Co-ordinated a group art exhibition and fashion show in Sydney.

1988 - 1991

Gained experience working in the UK film and television industry, travelled West Europe, thereafter via Asia on return to Australia.

 

1988

Travelled via USA and Central America to the United Kingdom to work in London, England.

 

Title: XAFRIKA  

Journeyed from England to Guinea-Bissau in West Africa to make a road movie that captured a ‘reality’ of the world at the end of the 20th Century.

 

Commissioned to paint my first artworks.

 

1983

Produced and directed my first music video.

 

1981 – 1985

Attended Macquarie University and graduated with a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting and Mass Communications in Television.

 

1976 - 1980

Educated at St Ignatius College, Riverview.
